Jose Francisco Pérez Colón 

Jose Francisco Pérez Colón, born and raised in San Cristóbal, Dominican Republic, experienced firsthand the challenges of limited access to musical resources in his community. Despite many obstacles, his passion for music and his discipline led him on a path to becoming a professional musician.

 Throughout his journey, Jose Francisco has first handedly experienced the profound impact that music education can have, not only on one's professional growth but also on personal development.

After recently completing his master’s degree in Jazz Violin and Jazz Composition in Hamburg, Germany, Jose Francisco is more determined than ever to provide opportunities for young individuals in the Dominican Republic, so they too can experience the life-changing effects of music.

Maeve Kathleen Mullaney 

Maeve Mullaney is a passionate educator and musician from Poughkeepsie, New York whose work has taken her to schools and communities worldwide. Her journey as both an educator and musician has deepened her understanding of how these two disciplines intertwine, shaping not only personal growth but also broader societal impact. Maeve believes that education and music have the power to transform lives, inspiring individuals to encounter the depths of themselves, and the world. 

With a deep commitment to both education and music, Maeve brings a unique perspective to The Hope Foundation. She aims to cultivate lasting connections, foster true joy and opportunities for young people.

Under her leadership, The Hope Foundation is dedicated to offering access to quality music education for underserved communities, helping to bridge the gap and inspire the next generation of musicians and leaders.

Francisco Pérez Pérez

Francisco Pérez Pérez is a dedicated teacher, pastor, and an inspiring leader. Born in Barahona, Dominican Republic, he understands the depth of this community and its vital need for accessible, quality education. 

His passion for education comes from his belief in its transformative power to change lives. Against all odds, he held onto the principle of education. His life stands as a testament to the transformative power of education. 

With a heart for service, Francisco Pérez guides and uplifts those around him, both through his work with The Hope Foundation as well as his leadership in his family, school, church, and local community in San Cristóbal, Dominican Republic.
