Jose Francisco Pérez Colón, born and raised in San Cristóbal, Dominican Republic, experienced firsthand the challenges of limited access to musical resources in his community. Despite many obstacles, his passion for music and his discipline led him on a path to becoming a professional musician.
Throughout his journey, Jose Francisco has first handedly experienced the profound impact that music education can have, not only on one's professional growth but also on personal development.
After recently completing his master’s degree in Jazz Violin and Jazz Composition in Hamburg, Germany, Jose Francisco is more determined than ever to provide opportunities for young individuals in the Dominican Republic, so they too can experience the life-changing effects of music.
